WHY KOLOHE?
Kolohe means to be a "rascal" or to be "mischievous".
We have always been a family that looks for new experiences and tries new paths whenever possible but we were reminded how important that was when our 6 year old boy was diagnosed with cancer. Despite it all, his desire to try new things and go new places was never stronger.
Whether it was jumping off cliff with his family from Hawaii or canoeing lakes in the Columbia Icefields, he wanted to do it all and he kicked cancer's a**.
That experience motivated us to embrace life more than ever. We explored more, loved more, and contributed more to bettering our world through supporting organizations that protect the environment and help those in crisis.
We have created Kolohe Life to remind everyone that there is a wonderful world out there waiting to be experienced with those you care about.
